Ukulele Sound

I had an ukulele lesson today.  My teacher Hayashi gave me a new score-First Love by Hikaru Utada who is a wonderful female japanese singer.
Do you know Hikaru Utada?
It's a beautiful Japanese song.
Here's Jake Shimabukuro plays 'First Love' with ukulele.
Isnt it wonderful? It makes me or you )heal so much.

How do you like it?

Pleasingly peaceful. I love how music is the universal language. Thank you for sharing your favorite song. How exciting that you are learning to play the same one! Wishing you all the best in the New Year 2010.

Mami darling of all the days, today is the day my computer speakers decided to stop working. What a shame, I will bookmark it and will listen to it later.

Very nice, Mami. I am a great fan of jazz. My friend sang three months in Tokyo at the NY bar. She was accompanied to Japan by Shota Osaba who is Japanese but also lives in San Francisco. He is a fabulous piano player and is often in Japan, playing for Japanese singers. He has a couple of CDs out, Happy Coat and Happy Count. In fact, he will be at Asakusa in March for two weeks.

The ukelele is lovely, very different sound from Hawaiian players.
