A word of this year

When we look back at this year , we used to figure out in Japanese Kanji.

Every year at this time, the high priest of Kiyomizu temple in Kyoto writes down as above.

It means 'HOT'.  You might agree to describe about this. We ended to give up in heat wave this long summer.

How do you like to describe one word  about 2010?

Me?
Let me see..I will choose 'Corporation'
Because I had good chance to find out that corporation with kindness is very important for us at family.

I love its pink colour.

A Swan

We have warm sunny days recently. Amazingly I saw a white swan in the river alone near my town yesterday.

 Maybe it got lost one's way...poor swan...Because here in Osaka is not the winter home of Swans'.

Hi,we had just the most beautiful moment last month.
The leaves of this year were more pretty in these 5 years.
Winter is coming soon with cold wintry wind here,too.
Howerver, already Chritmas mood in the town. ;)

Autumn Colours

Kyoto Arashiyama

If you come to Japan and visit to Kyoto or somewhere, you can conveniently use rental cycle to go sight-seeing at the station. Especially Kyoto.

So my husband and me went to Arashiyama at Kyoto and go around by bicycles. Let me show you some photos. Glad you will like them.

We both decided to rent bicycle near by the Arashiyama station.
It costs about $8 a day. They are normal  ones with no gears.

On my birthday..

Last weekend , we went to a Japanese restaurant. Because the day was my birthday. How fast time goes!

anyway, I'll show you a few photos by skipping as follow

You might say they are not enough for your satisfactions,  Not a big beaf steak.. hehe ..just one bite size

What is this? 

You can see  one egg and rice?

But this egg is very fresh , special and rich named just 'Dragon egg'

...and then toss on the rice.

This is Tamagokake-gohan. It is a kind of Carbonara in Italy.
If you try Tamagokake-gohan, you must choose the fresh egg.

Long time no see

Hi,it's me. Mami from Japan :D
Loong time no see. hehehe :)
First of all i have to say hello to everyone and greet to you.
How have you been?
Hope you're all right,of course.

As you know we had been terrible heat summer this year and we 've never experienced before. It was the hottest in 130 years. Unbeliabale!!

Finally we are at beginning of early (later?)Autumn  season.
The temperature is 24C here. Very comfortable for us.

Leaves(cherry trees) are changing into  colours day by day.

 Pretty cosmoses are blooming on the field

The high tower is the Tokyo Sky Tree is still under in the construction.
Now the tower is 488m and finally it will be 634m high.
