What very cute D's you have! It is interesting to see Draemon, your Japanese comic character, as I have never met him before.

Dramatically delightful, my Dear friend! (Is that enough Ds for you - it's not very easy, is it?)

The toys are so sweet. My sons are crazy about Pokemon, so we have a lot of Japanese toys, books and films, mainly translated, in our house.

Doraemon!
Um... D'S! There is Daisy. Daisy, a type of flower... or Daisy Duck, or Daisy a Dairy cow. Dairy, not to be confused with Diary, which is a journal you write into Daily. If not a Daily Diary, then maybe it is a book of Dreams! Or a Diary to Doodle some Drawings :)

There are also Delicious Doughtnuts (or Donuts). Do you use Dollars in Osaka? :) And oh, is it Drizzling in Osaka? :)

Hehehe... This D Day is quite fun!

Hi, I am in the UK but participating in Alphabe-Thursday too. Really good to find someone in another country to read, always good to get different perspectives on things. Hope this posts, all I have is little squares at the bottom of the page

Duffy looks like he would be a desirable character to have. He seems very different from the characters we have at Disney but who knows, I haven't been to Disney in America for many years so maybe he's there.

Mami, how nice that you got involved in Jenny's Alphabet thursday! I was just on her blog myself reading all the latest with her! I like your letter D. I am a big fan of bears of all kinds myself, so really liked seeing yours! I was reading your previous posts and very much enjoyed seeing the Ume plum blossoms on the trees! ohhh, it makes me wish that our weather was no so cold anymore and that we would have lovely blossoms like that here to enjoy!! They are real eye-candy! And thinking of candy, your post on the chocolates was totally utterly trully fascinating!!! I am such a lover of chocolates, and I enjoyed reading about the different ones that you have there from the various countries. I saw the one from Germany and recognized it right away. :-) The most interesting one is the camel milk ones! How fabulous is that! thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving comment for me, even when I am such a bad blogger friend and don't get around to all my friends as much as I would like to or should!! hugs from afar, Debby

I am so happy to see you here and to discover your blog. I love your country and have been there on two occasions, each for a very short time, within the last five years. I spent five days in Tokyo when my dear friend was performing for three months at the NY Bar at the Park Hyatt. At that time, forensic colleagues from Japan ( I was a forensic nurse for 21 years ), doctors and nurses, met my friend and I for lunch and interviewed us. Four of them subsequently came and spent a week in San Francisco and, then, invited me, a doctor friend, and Sherry ( another nurse ) to Japan, all expenses paid, to speak on our forensic specialties. It was the trip of a lifetime, quite a whirlwind. We were at Shiga University and spent a night at the Royal Oak Hotel. Our hostess, Dr. Izumi Takaese, took us to the beautiful Golden Pavilion! We also stayed three days in Akita where I talked at the University about forensic interviewing of children who are sexually abused. Our friends there took us to Kakunodate and beautiful Lake Tazawa and we had the most wonderful sake.

Great "D"s!
