The dolls; (simbolized the Emperor & the Emperess of 1300yrs ago)
 He has a sword and with long tail cap called eboshi

And the other side,she wears twelve gorgeous kimonos on her body called junihitoe in fact and with beattiful fan





BTW...I made something bits for hinamatsuri :-)

This is wonderful! I remember my mother learning to make Japanese paper dolls at a craft group when I was a child, and I love to see all the different ways you have interpreted the idea. Thanks for these lovely pictures, and for your kind comments on my blog.

Interesting culture. Great crafts. The sushi and soup look delectible. As for food, I will try anything at least once.
